Sheffield Food Festival

Last weekend was the Sheffield Food Festival & for the festival in Cocoa we were running chocolate painting workshops. Here are just a few snaps to demonstrate what went on.

Here the lovely Ellen is getting very creative with the edible paint & has made a paisley pattern lolly.

This was my attempt of the Food Festival logo.

close up!

All lollies were handmade in Cocoa, this is my first attempt of some halloween lollies. Which hopefully we will see in Cocoa very soon.

I hope you had fun at the Sheffield Food Festival & look foward to getting involved next year.

Chocolate fair in London

Been way too long since we blogged! This is just a little one for you....

So a few weeks ago Kate and I took a long day trip to London. Every year there is a chocolate fair (within a food fair) & it's a great chance to catch up with chocolate friends and hopefully make new ones.

The first thing that caught our eye was this giant chocolate world/football, this picture doesn't really give it justice to how huge it was.

We got to meet Johnathan who imports Marou for the first time. We have been selling this bar for over 6 months now & will hopefully be getting the small bars in soon.

We got to see Valrhona's new bars & packaging (there are loads!)

We caught up with the lovely people at Rococo, who let us try some of their fresh truffles which were amazing!

We also met up with Jane of Tipple Tails (sorry no pics I was too busy chatting)

On the train home we were lucky enough to catch up with the one the only Charlotte Johnson who used to work at Cocoa before she left us for the busy lights of London! It was worth the trip just to spend some quality time with her.
